I'm not Catholic....actually far from religious but I need to do something so I am gonna hop on the Lent bandwagon and give up Sugar for 40 days. Ha! I figure I would give up sugar because then I can't have ice cream, candy, cookies...you know, all of the crap we aren't supposed to eat. So, day 1 (noon) so far so good. Granted I have only been out of bed since 6:30 am but hey...still going strong. I will keep you all posted! You know I will!!!
So today Aunt Flo decided to make a visit. I normally can't stand the bitch but this time I was looking forward to her visit because I recently acquired a Diva Cup. No more tampons or pads. No more leaks. Clean and Green. If you haven't heard of the Diva Cup, Google it. Trust me, it is awesome. Day 1 of the Diva Cup is AWESOME! Google away my friends, Google away!

Bullshit and Some Truth

OMG, I've never heard of such a thing. I don't have a need any longer, but can't wait to hear your testimonial about the Diva Cup!
ReplyDeleteI'm in awe of this Diva Cup thing. You've gotta tell us more after you've been able to test it out a while. It seems scary, but it would be better than the current options if it works out. Seems like it might be messy though? I don't know...
ReplyDeletePlease report on how the Diva Cup works (I hate the name - BTW).
ReplyDeleteNot sure if this helps or hurts, but Sundays are not considered to be a part of Lent. Lent is 40 days before Easter, not counting Sundays. So if you need to have something lucsious, it is okay to do so on Sundays,
Have not heard of it. Going to google now.
ReplyDeleteNo Sugar? Wow...that is impressive! You can do it! I know we both can!
ReplyDeleteInteresting contraption! :) I'm not quite sure what i think about it yet. Look forward to your formal report!
Can't wait for the review of the Diva Cup!
ReplyDeleteI just checked out the Diva Cup and looks very promising. I might just go get one for myself! :)
ReplyDeleteOMG... Giving up sugar, is awesome but tortureous... I am going to be hanging on your every word.
ReplyDeleteI'm on month 2 using my Diva Cup. The first month, I gave up frustrated. This time around, I simply did not wish to go to the store for JUST tampons, so, after a restless night of pad use, the next morning, I retrieved my tucked away Diva. Went all day using it. Had a couple times when I had to re-insert, but overall, things went well. The real test came this morning. After going to bed at 8:15pm, waking at 4am, I went to the bathroom. When I removed the cup, it was FULL. Much to my disbelief, there were no leaks...WOW is all I can say!
