Fitbit Question

Fitbit says I burned 2681 calories and I consumed 1017 cals so that is a deficit of 1664. Is this good? What is your opinion? Short and sweet!!! :)


  1. Roughly speaking 3500 calories is a pound. So, if you have a calorie deficit of 1664 in one day...that is almost 1/2 pound. That is EXCELLENT! Theoretically, if you have 1000 calorie deficit per day, you would be on track to lose 2pounds per week.

  3. Depends on whether or not you're losing weight...I stick to a deficit of 1,100ish and that works for me. If I were closer to your deficit, my body would kick into starvation mode. Just watch the numbers over a period of time - one day of that might make the scale go down, but you may find it creep back up on you, too!
