This is my journey from being obese to healthy and everything in between! I was banded on May 10th and this is my story!
i have a whole squad of food police in my life! the worst is my bf's mother, everytime i put something in my mouth she looks at me and makes the chewing motion with her mouth and says "chew chew!" grrrrr
Seems like after you have any WLS everyone decides they need to be the food police! So damn annoying.
hey kerri, did you get my email? i hope it helps a little! :-)
I'm with ya...Why weren't all these helpful people playing food police when I was slowly killing myself with brownies? Why wait until I'm eating 1000 calories a day and nag me about whether or not I should eat the bun on my tiny cheeseburger.
Hi Kerri, I just noticed that you started following my blog, so I jumped right over to check yours out too!! Yes, I love exclamation points too!!I am so glad to know that I am not the only one who didn't have gas pains after Surgery!! But I didn't hold anything in either!! LOLDon't worry, you are doing great! I too fight "head hunger" every single day! Most days I win, but...some days NOT!! I would lose the weight much faster if I never gave in to my head hunger! My husband, Walt is my "food police". Unfortunately he can't be here 24/7 to help with my "head hunger". LOL
Once you get this fill you should be losing again. I know how frustrating it is to feel like you are losing slower than most people - it is very hard not to compare. However, it is really true that everyone's body and journey is different. I have lost 48 lbs and it has been almost 8 months since my surgery - I think that is very slow, I thought I would hit 50 by 6 months. But, I didn't and there is nothing I can do to change that. Just try to be patient (easier said than done, I know) and focus on right now. Hang in there! <3
